Which registration companies are taking part in this promotional initiative? Check the list here, where you will find all the registration companies that are applying the special price of €10 highlighted(VAT not included).
When does this special price end? The last day is 21 June 2023.
When is the special price of €10 applied? It is applied for all new domain registrations provided that it is done through one on the registration companies taking part in the promotion. Domain transfers between registration companies are not included and in these cases the usual price established by each registration company applies.
How do I know if a domain is available for registration? Use our available domains search engine at https://www.domini.barcelona/en/promotions-register/ .
Are there any limits on domains registered using the special offer? No, none at all. This is a .barcelona domain just like any other, with the same functions and life cycle.
Can I renew my domain at any time? Of course! You can renew your domain whenever you want before the registration deadline. What's more, you can do it for the period you want! There’s no need to wait for the renewal date.
How is a .barcelona domain renewed? To renew your domain you have to get in touch with your registration company and follow the instructions they give you. Practically all the domains will let you choose an automatic renewal option to spare you having to worry about it. In any case, remember to do it before the expiry date.

.BARCELONA DOMAIN DISCOUNT CODES
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION

The .barcelona domain periodically offers promotional discount codes for registering or renewing .barcelona domains. These codes are distributed under criteria established between Barcelona City Council and the .cat Foundation and are regulated, in all cases, under these terms and conditions for participation.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The objective of the codes is to enable .barcelona domains to be created or renewed under more advantageous conditions. The promotional page states the following information:

Start date of the promotion
Finish date of the promotion
Codes’ expiry date
Participating registration companies

The promotion is limited to a maximum of 3 codes linked to the same owner, for registrations and renewals alike To get a discount code you must follow the instructions given on the promotional page and fill in all the data required. Once your application has been accepted, an email will be sent to the address you provided with the code and the basic information needed for using it.

RENEWAL CODES

Should you ask for a renewal code, you must verify that the domain is registered with one of the registration companies taking part in the promotion and provide the same email address used as the domain’s contact, since the email with the code will be sent to that address. One domain, one code.

VALIDITY OF THE CODES

The codes are valid for 3 months from the start date of the promotion. The codes’ exact expiry date will be stated on the promotion webpage and in the email your code was sent to. New codes will not be sent after the expiry date.

FINANCIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The codes are for receiving a discount of at least €4 on the .barcelona domain’s registration or renewal price for a one-year period with the registration companies taking part in the promotion (VAT not included). The final price you will have to pay will depend on the registration company and the services provided.

Under no circumstances will sending a discount code imply an obligation on the part of the managers of the .barcelona domain to guarantee a discount beyond the terms and conditions expressed here.

These codes do not apply to domain transfers.

What do you need to bear in mind?

REGISTRATION: Once you have entered their webpage, look for an available .barcelona domain and follow the instructions for registering it. Enter your personal code when you are asked for it. The discount will apply to the final price of the domain that is registered.

RENEWAL: The discount will be applied when renewing your .barcelona domain, provided the domain has been registered with any of the registration companies taking part in this initiative. To do so, go to the control board the registration company provides and look for the domain renewal option. Follow the instructions and enter your personal code when you are asked for it. The discount will apply to the final price of the domain that is renewed.
